The Rodriguez Family Foundation, a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on community support and education, spearheaded the Hurricane Maria Adopt-a-School Program to provide crucial assistance to schools affected by the devastating hurricane in Puerto Rico. This initiative was particularly concentrated on Klockner Elementary School in Hamilton, New Jersey, which served as a hub for collecting donations and raising awareness. 

 The foundation coordinated the collection and distribution of hundreds of book bags filled with essential school supplies, including notebooks, pencils, crayons, and other educational materials. In addition to these supplies, the program also facilitated the donation of a generator to ensure that the adopted school, Escuela Primaria Hector Hernandez Arana, in Lares Puerto Rico could maintain power, a critical need in the wake of widespread outages caused by the hurricane.

 The Rodriguez Family Foundation, has emerged as a vital ally in the fight against the opioid crisis, collaborating with the Anti Opioid Campaign organized by Governor Chris Christie.  The mission centers on providing support and resources to families affected by opioid addiction, recognizing the profound impact addiction has not only on individuals but also on their loved ones. 

In a concerted effort to raise awareness about the devastating effects of opioid misuse, the Rodriguez Family Foundation played a pivotal role in the Anti Opioid Campaign by facilitating connections between affected individuals and a network of trained counselors and rehabilitation programs. Through community outreach initiatives, the foundation organized workshops and informational sessions, where families could learn about the signs of addiction, the importance of seeking help, and the available resources.

 The Rodriguez Family Foundation partnered with the Focus Group to conduct a comprehensive study on school violence, aiming to identify effective prevention strategies. This collaboration led to the creation of the Jericho Project, a vital initiative focused on preventing suicide and combating bullying within schools. By fostering a safe and supportive environment for students, the Jericho Project strives to address the root causes of violence and promote mental wellness, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive in a positive educational setting.

The Rodriguez Family Foundation is dedicated to empowering families through education, ensuring that the next generation is equipped to compete in a global landscape. Our mission is to create opportunities that foster parental involvement in children's education, ultimately building a stronger community and enhancing student success.

One of our key initiatives is Resilient Kids, a Parent Participation Program designed to engage parents in their children's educational journey. Through workshops and activities, we educate families about the importance of their involvement and provide them with tools to support their children's learning at home. We also offer ESL classes tailored specifically for Spanish-speaking adults. These classes not only help improve language skills but also enhance parents' ability to communicate with teachers and access important school resources, creating a more inclusive educational environment.

Understanding the challenges faced by immigrant families, the Foundation provides programs to raise awareness about their Rights as Residents. Through informational sessions and advocacy efforts, we empower parents to navigate the educational system, ensuring they have a voice in their children's education.

Additionally, we actively advocate for Bilingual Programs within Trenton, recognizing the importance of cultural identity and language development in a child’s educational experience. By promoting these initiatives and supporting families, the Rodriguez Family Foundation is committed to creating a brighter future for all students in our community.
